The CNS Annual Meeting has earned a reputation for being dynamic and innovative. Year after year, the Scientific Program and Annual Meeting Committees work hard to bring you the most practical, relevant, and cutting-edge content, along with the networking opportunities that advance your career and our specialty.
At this year's Annual Meeting, we're taking this commitment to the next level with a new destination that puts you right in the middle of the action. The CNS Xperience Lounge, powered by Surgical Theater, lets you get up close and personal with this year's awardees, connect with your colleagues and mentors, and get your hands on the hottest new technology featured throughout the meeting.
The CNS Xperience Lounge, powered by Surgical Theater, will be located at the front of the Exhibit Hall. Stop by during Exhibit Hall hours for hands-on, case-based presentations using the groundbreaking medical technologies featured at the General Scientific Sessions, Live Surgery Sessions, and throughout the Exhibit Hall. Bring a colleague along to collaborate on a case using immersive virtual reality technology where you can view the pathology from a whole new angle. Or, drop in to see how other new imaging, communication, and visualization technologies might change how you approach a case. A full schedule of cases and technologies featured will be available at cns.org/2017 in late August, as well as in the onsite program book and mobile app.
Author meet-and-greet sessions will be held in the CNS Xperience Lounge, powered by Surgical Theater, during the daily breaks, giving you a chance to discuss the year's Top Papers in Neurosurgery and ask the authors questions about their work. Select featured speakers will also visit the Lounge to host intimate face-to-face discussions. Lastly, the Innovator of the Year will give a brief presentation and host a small group Q&A session. For more information on the Innovator of the Year award or to submit your neurosurgical innovation for consideration, visit cns.org/innovation. Applications are due July 31, 2017.
