The 2017 CNS Annual Meeting focuses on the many forces transforming the practice of neurosurgery and the care of neurosurgical patients right now. Critical among these forces influencing our specialty is the evolution of neurosurgical technology. The Annual Meeting highlights many of these technological advances and breakthroughs throughout the scientific program, but there is no better place to get your hands on all the latest advances than the Exhibit Hall. With more than 160 companies in attendance, the Exhibit Hall is the most efficient way to find and compare devices and other technologies for your neurosurgical practice. This year, the Exhibit Hall also offers a number of opportunities to see how some of the leading subspecialty experts utilize that technology in their practice, as well as opportunities to try new devices out for yourself.
One of the highlights of the CNS Exhibit Hall is our Live Surgery Theater, where surgeons at some of the top institutions in the U.S. will operate live via telemedicine, giving you a chance to observe and ask questions of the operating surgeon. Live Surgery presentations will be held during the GSS break Monday and Tuesday at 1:45-2:45 pm, and Wednesday at 9:45-10:45 am, on topics including endoscopic and endoscopic-assisted skull base surgery led by Dr. Paul Gardner and sponsored by Karl Storz, KLS Martin, and Stryker.
A full schedule of surgical approaches and technologies featured will be available in the onsite program book and mobile app this fall.
